April Mixtape
Flowers, flowers everywhere! April is pretty pretty wonderful in Seattle for flower-lovers such as myself. Up in Mount Vernon, the yearly tulip festival is in full swing, with everything blooming early this year. I'll do a whole post on tulip pictures soon, but for now enjoy this new mix for the month of April :)

Photo Diary // Bainbridge Island
For Valentines Day this year, Mikey and I took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island for a day of exploring. I've only been there once before, so it was fun to have a special day with just the two of us to explore. We first went to the Grand Forest to do a little bit of hiking, and then hit up the town for lunch. We also visited Rolling Bay Winery for some wine tasting. I highly recommend going here if you find yourself on Bainbridge! The owners are so gracious and welcoming, and very generous with their tasting pours! After all that excitement, we left on the ferry just in time for sunset, and to end the night with a pizza party with friends - the best way to spend Valentine's Day!

February Mixtape
this picture is from a crazy gorgeous evening walk at Greenlake a few weeks back. I know I won't live in this neighborhood forever, so every walk, every sunrise, every sunset is cherished. Below is a new playlist for your listening pleasure :)

beth whitney new Ukulele EP release
my sweet friend and amazing musician Beth Whitney has released a new EP called Ukulele, where she exclusively plays a uke instead of guitar. having listened to it nonstop since receiving my copy, i am in love..its the perfect rainy day music to sing along and get lost in, as her voice is so beautiful and magical - i am especially digging the song "pirate".. and "sweet on you" would make the perfect wedding or video song :)
I am especially thankful to Beth for having me take photos of her a few months back, and in addition to being used in promotional pics, one of the pictures made it to the inside album cover (above)! its quite exciting .. here's some of my favorites from the shoot with the talented and beautiful Beth Whitney - styled and shot by me, radiance and ukulele skills by beth :)

new items in my etsy store: my heart belongs in ..
paris, i'd have to say for myself :)
i just got a couple new items listed in my etsy store, dream like trees .. it feels nice to have more on there besides my flowers .. speaking of those, i am currently working on my fall line of flowers and need to hurry up with a photo shoot for them before its too cold outside, because shooting in the fall here is so pretty!!
anyway, back to the new items .. they are kind of a map of where your heart lies, whether it be miami FL, madison, WI or seattle, WA, i can make them with your choice of state, heart placement, color of background and the color of string used. i myself, love the natural wood ones .. maybe i should cover some with lace :)

etsy photo shoot - sneak peek!
i love etsy. i can spend hours searching for the perfect gift,
unique accessories, or just about anything. being a crafter myself, i have a
lot of respect for those who have made a life for themselves from something
they love to do, and hope to follow in their footsteps! so, for the past few months i have been working towards
creating my own etsy site. i CANNOT wait to launch..just a few more days now!

here
is a collection of some of my favorite photos from the shoot i did for my site
at Carkeek Park in Seattle. i was so nervous to direct my first multi-person
shoot! luckily, i have some an amazing group of friends that agreed to help me
out and be in the pictures. getting the chance to style an entire shoot,
not to mention photograph it and have my products being featured...holy F was it stressful!! but, a necessary test of skills, which definitely paid off :)
there's
a couple fun behind-the-scenes ones, as well as some i'm using for product
pictures and such :) a huge thanks to my ILLUMINATING models for helping my pictures come to
life!!!
