oh how i love to photograph my sweet, silly, fun-loving niece Vylet. she is now eight years old and going to start third grade in the fall .. she moves with the grace of a ballerina and has the goofiness of, well, Goofy :) i love being able to head home over the Cascade mountains to Plain, the small town outside of Leavenworth where i grew up .. my parents, along with all three of my siblings and their families, are now residing once again in Plain, which makes it extra special when i'm able to visit .. Vylet and i especially have fun playing dress-up and make-believe, and luckily she lets me work on my photography simultaneously! here are some shots of our afternoon by the river with my little model-in-the-making ..
