i've been working on my new summer playlist for the past couple months in anticipation of the summer we may finally be having in seattle, collecting new songs from here and there, putting together my favorites with a beat more of an upbeat feel. but i always think the key to a long playlist is to make sure to mix in some old classics, like neil young, van morrison, the beatles, ect.. also add some favorites from the recent years, like violent femmes, MGMT, or peter, bjorn and john. I'm getting pretty excited for a birthday party we are hosting at my house, and this playlist has definitely helped me get through the long hours of cleaning and organizing, and will be perfect party music!
